Flanders and the United Kingdom traditionally have an intensive collaboration between their different universities and research centres. At the moment, the EU is still in the process of formalising the UK’s association to Horizon Europe. Within the previous European research programme, Horizon 2020, there were approximately 500 research projects involving Flemish and British organizations. We are closely monitoring the developments with regard to the UK’s association to Horizon Europe.
